Tasmanian Hockey Centre

This state-of-the-art international sporting facility is between two hockey pitches, providing world-class player facilities. The dramatic butterfly roof reaches over the tiered spectator stands, while Tasmanian timbers dominate the internal material palette of the bar and function centre.

Split over two levels, the lower level comprises change-rooms, ice baths, medical facilities, storage and other players’ and officials’ amenities with direct level access onto the two pitches. Devoted to spectator engagement, the upper level includes 600 covered grandstand seats, dining/café, corporate hospitality areas, function rooms, kitchen and kiosk.
