The Launceston City Council engaged Philp Lighton Architects to undertake a internal refurbishment of the Princess Theatre in Launceston, Northern Tasmania.
The original floor required replacement and during this time, the opportunity arose to undertake remedial works on boundary walls subject to water ingress / damage.
New under floor air circulation was installed to ensure the structure remains dry.
Compliance work was undertaken to bring the theatre up to current standards, including accessible access, fire exits and lighting.
Painting works and new seating completed the refurbishment.
